HOBOKEN - Crews are working to repair a water main break in Hoboken.

United Water officials say the 12-inch main broke on Fifth Street between Jefferson and Madison streets early Thursday. They say the repairs are still being completed.

The residences at 420 Jefferson St. are the only customers without water, a United Water spokesman said.

Officials also say they were forced to tow 12 cars from the area so repairs could be made. They are working with the police department to alert the owners of the vehicles.
