Crews work to repair water main break near Roosevelt Park in Edison
EDISON - Utility crews are working to repair a water main break that's buckled a roadway in Edison.
The break happened at around 10:30 a.m. on Parsonage Road between Route 27 and Oakwood Avenue, according to the township's Office of Emergency Management.
Lakeview School, located within Roosevelt Park, sent students home early and have announced a delayed opening for Thursday.

No other businesses or surrounding homes appear to have been affected by the break.
The roadway is expected to remain closed until further notice. Drivers are being advised to avoid the area if possible.
Crews from Middlesex Water say work to repair the road could continue into the weekend.
