TOMS RIVER - A 911 call from immediately after a 2008 fatal boat crash was played today in an Ocean County courtroom.

In the call, two passengers describe the injuries of those aboard the damaged boat on the 20-minute call.

Robert Post, 49, of Essex Falls, was killed when his 16-and-a-half-foot whaler was run over by a 27-foot speed boat driven by Anthony DiGilio, 34, of Brick. Four other adults on the whaler survived the crash.

Post was decapitated in the crash and two of the other passengers were critically injured.

DiGilio is on trial, charged with vehicular homicide and 2 counts of assault by vessel. If convicted, DiGilio faces 10 years in prison.
