POMPTON LAKES - Members of Congress are arguing over a federal spending bill that has money that Garden State flood victims need to recover.

Many people that News 12 New Jersey spoke with say they're tired of Congress playing politics with their disaster aid. Gov. Chris Christie (R-N.J.) says party politics could hurt New Jersey residents at the worst time.

Fiscally, Republicans say the spending bill simply spends too much and that there need to be cuts to balance disaster aid; however, Democrats are opposed to those cuts.
