SOUTH PLAINFIELD - Authorities say they are searching for a man who they believe killed a Plainfield man at a South Plainfield hotel last night. Middlesex County Prosecutor Bruce J. Kaplan and Acting Chief James Parker, of the South Plainfield Police Department, say Quadir Ali-Muslim, 32, was shot at 11:50 p.m. in a hallway at the Best Western Hotel. Authorities say Ali-Muslim was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, where he was later pronounced dead.

Police say they are now searching for Harold Tucker, 29, who has been charged with the murder.
