NEWARK - The six candidates for the 10th Congressional District seat faced each other in a debate tonight on the issues facing the district. The debate was held at the Newark campus of Rutgers University.
Issues addressed by the six candidates included same-sex marriage, troop withdrawal in Afghanistan, decriminalizing drugs and job creation.
The congressional seat has been left vacant after Rep. Donald Payne passed away in March. His son, Donald Payne Jr., is one of the candidates.
