Community mourns loss of Parsippany woman, mom of 3

PARSIPPANY - Cheerleading practice for Parsippany's Little Vikings went on today with one person noticeably absent from the sidelines.

Kim Lynn, a mother of 3 girls, was killed early Sunday morning in New York's Hudson Valley while driving with her daughters, 12-year-old Cassie and 8-year-old twins Megan and Jordan. The girls are members of the Little Vikings cheerleading squad.

Police say a Poughkeepsie man driving north on Route 9-W crossed into the opposite lane and collided with Lynn's minivan early Sunday morning.

Lynn died at the scene. Her girls were injured but survived the crash.
