EATONTOWN - The snowy, cold winter that feels like a burden to many, means big business to others.

Ski equipment is in high demand, according to the owners of Ski Barn in Eatontown.

Rentals are unusually high, and the chain says it rented out all of its available equipment. They had to get more equipment to meet the high demand.

Outerwear that can handle the bitter cold, such as face masks, hats, and gloves, are also popular. "We've been constantly on an attempt to keep up with the amount of demand we've had for it," says Dave Angel.

Ski Barn is a specialty store, so winter weather gear will stay on the shelves longer. Most discount chains or large retailers have already taken most winter merchandise off of the shelves.
