RIDGEFIELD PARK - Students in Ridgefield Park will be heading back to school sporting new "dos" thanks to some free haircuts.
Clips Barbershop gave out the free cuts for the fourth year in a row to kids of all ages.
The owner says it's an important event that allows him to give back to the community, and boost morale for incoming students.
"It's important because it's about how they feel inside going back to school,” says Joel Salas. "Everything is about looks, what type of sneakers they're wearing, how their hair looks."
A local shoe store also donated dozens of brand new sneakers, which were raffled off to deserving kids as part of the back-to-school event.
