WESTFIELD - Millions are expected to tune in tonight to watch presidential nominees Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump square off in their first one-on-one debate.

The debate, which is being held at Hofstra University on Long Island,  may even reach ratings that rival that of the Super Bowl. The big event is going up against Monday Night Football, so just how many people will tune in to the debate?

News 12 New Jersey spoke to people in Westfield and the decision was split. Some say they definitely plan to watch while others were on the fence. Some people said they might flip back and forth between the debate and football.

NBC's Lester Holt hosted the debate.
