Clifton teacher indicted for alleged student sexual relationship

CLIFTON - A former Clifton High School teacher has been indicted on charges of an alleged sexual relationship with one of her students.

Kristin Leone, 26, has been formally charged with endangering the welfare of a child and two counts of criminal sexual contact.

The alleged sexual relationship with a 16-year-old male student took place once at school and another time at her home.

The case was sent to a grand jury in May when Leone pleaded not guilty to the charges.
