CLIFTON - The mother of a special-needs student at Clifton High School claims she was sexually assaulted by her son's principal. Doug Anton, the alleged victim's attorney, says his client was groped and Principal Jimmie Warren exposed himself to her during several recent meetings they had to discuss problems that her son was having. Clifton police have confirmed that Warren admitted the meetings did take place, but insisted nothing improper took place. Investigators at that time declined to file charges due to a lack of evidence. However, at a hearing yesterday, a municipal court judge found probable cause for the case to go to trial.

Warren has been suspended with pay.
