CLIFTON - Clifton police say that the teen wanted for allegedly stabbing two people on Sunday is on the loose.

Darin Barone, 18, allegedly stabbed two men on Bloomfield Avenue in Clifton on Jan. 3 during an argument.

Both victims were stabbed in the arm and one required surgery, according to Clifton police spokesman Sgt. Robert Bracken.

Barone was identified as the suspect and police are looking for him. He will be charged with aggravated assault and weapon possession.

Police have also arrested Barone’s mother, Diane Barone, for allegedly lying to police about the whereabouts of her son.
