HOBOKEN - The City of Hoboken has unveiled its plan to celebrate Super Bowl 48. Pier A, along the Manhattan Skyline, will play host to the big party.

Organizers say attendees will be available to have their picture taken with the ‘XLVIII’ roman numerals with the Manhattan skyline behind them.

A group of Hoboken residents got together to make the party happen, after they felt the Super Bowl was being billed as a New York only event.

The Super Bowl celebration will also feature a curling area, where participants can tryout the Olympic sport.

Super Bowl 48 will be played on Feb. 2, 2014 at MetLife Stadium.
