BELVIDERE - The White House Christmas tree selection committee was in Warren County today to select four trees from Wyckoff's Farm in Belvidere.

The Wyckoff family will cut them down the day after Thanksgiving and deliver them directly to the White House, where they will present them to first lady Michelle Obama.

"It makes us feel extremely honored," says John Wyckoff. "The entire family is looking forward to making the trip to Washington, D.C. and presenting the first lady with the trees that were selected today."

Wyckoff's Farm was selected by the White House because it was recently named "grand champion" by the National Christmas Tree Association. The farm has been growing trees since 1958 and has 65,000 trees on hand for the Christmas season.
