The governor laid out a five-point plan that would prevent people from holding more than one elected office at a time and would require broad financial disclosure for all state lawmakers.

"What we're proposing today is at the conclusion of the 2010-2011 Legislature, we put an end to dual office holding, no two elected offices in the state of New Jersey," said Christie.

The governor will announce changes to pensions and benefits for current public workers and retirees; ways to keep and attract more businesses to the state; and changes to the education system at similar town hall meetings in the next four weeks.
