SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Gov. Chris Christie says he doesn't think his response to a Cub Scout's question should affect his administration's fight over releasing details about the cost of his security details.

The governor in April gave details about his security after the 7-year-old scout asked him how many bodyguards he had. The boy said he wanted to be a bodyguard when he grows up.

The New Jersey Watchdog website has sued the governor's office, arguing the public should be able to see the records.

Judge Mary Jacobson says she may order the administration to release a log of all food, travel and lodging expenses charged by his guards.

Gov. Christie said that it's naive to think that his answer to the boy included the type of information that the administration is fighting to keep secret.

The Associated Press wire services contributed to this report.
