Chihuahuas rescued from N.C. hoarder arrive in Forked River

FORKED RIVER - Some furry friends have arrived in New Jersey looking for new homes.

Animal activists rescued 24 Chihuahuas from a hoarder in North Carolina. The pups were flown into New Jersey courtesy of the Pilots N Paws rescue group.

The dogs are temporarily living at the Popcorn Park Zoo in Forked River. They should be available for adoption in the next few days.

Pilots N Paws, a pet rescue group, helps save more than 4,000 pets a year.
