WALL TOWNSHIP - School was open today in Wall Township despite a confirmed case of MRSA.

Officials say Central Elementary School was properly disinfected after additional custodial staff was brought in to help.

They did not say if it was a student or a faculty member that contracted the antibiotic-resistant staph bacteria.

Parents were notified about the situation on Tuesday.
