WAYNE - Police have made an arrest in the murder of a Wayne teenager who was shot and killed in Paterson just hours after receiving his high school diploma.
Officials say Casey Cole, 18, of Wayne, is facing murder and robbery charges.
Isaac Rinas and a friend, both 18, drove into the city's fourth ward in a new Infiniti sedan just after sunset Wednesday. They had pulled over, when a man got into the back seat, police say. He demanded money from the two at gun-point, then forced them out of the car. Police say Cole then allegedly shot Rinas in the neck.

Wayne Superintendent Ray Gonzales says the school is mourning the lost of the young graduate. "It's just tragic that we have anything that takes away the life of someone well before their time."
Rinas previously played football and ran on the track team for Wayne Valley High School. He was supposed to join his classmates for a school-sponsored party after graduation Wednesday night. But he never made it.
The suspect and victim were classmates at Wayne Valley. They were also reportedly Facebook friends.
The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office says Cole is being held on a $2 million cash bond.
Authorities are asking anyone with information regarding the shooting to contact police at (973) 321-1120.
