Cardstacker creates masterpieces at Middlesex County College

EDISON - A cityscape made entirely out of playing cards by a Middlesex County College student is currently on display at the school.

Alex Perricone, 20, constructed his masterpiece behind glass to protect his work. There are card towers that are 7-feet high, including a sports arena, a Mayan pyramid and domed capitol building.

Perricone says that the system he uses is like a grid and the cards are set up strategically. Perricone says it took a week to build the 14 buildings on display and 488 decks of cards. The card creations are set to come down on Monday.
