Police are investigating the death of a Riverdale man after the car he was driving veered off the road and crashed into a home in

PEQUANNOCK - Police are investigating the death of a Riverdale man after the car he was driving veered off the road and crashed into a home in Pequannock this morning.

Police say the man was driving on Route 23 southbound near Alexander Avenue when he lost control and struck the house on Madison Street.

Authorities say the 66-year-old driver lost consciousness and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the Morris County Medical Examiner's Office will determine whether the man died before crashing into the house around 7:35 a.m.
