SICKLERVILLE - A Sicklerville father will head to prison after being convicted of shooting his own daughter in the face.

News 12 previously reported that Byaer Johnson's daughter, Yesenia Parker, was severely injured in a shooting in January 2013.

Parker's testimony against her father helped prosecutors in the case.

"You took my childhood away," Parker told her father in the courtroom.

Parker was sentenced to 47 years behind bars.
