JERSEY CITY - A Jersey City butcher shop says it's preparing for a busy St. Patrick's Day.
Tom Maloney is the fourth generation to run Maloney's Meat Market, which went into business back in 1875 and claims to be the oldest Irish butcher shop in the country.
Once a year, the shop's corned beef has people lined up around the block. Many say that Maloney's serves the best corned beef in New Jersey.
The butchers say they serve up 5,000 pounds of corned beef every March, the bulk of it on St. Patrick's Day.
