Bus that crashed in NJ not authorized to travel in U.S.

WAYNE - A tour bus heading from Toronto to New York that crashed on Interstate 80 was not authorized for interstate passenger service.NorthJersey.com reports the company's authority to carry passengers was revoked July 9, six days after its liability insurance was canceled.It's not clear why the company wasn't reinstated by the Department of Transportation.Records also show the tour bus company was cited four times for violating federal "fatigued driving" regulations.The 51-year-old driver from Toronto says he was cut off by another vehicle as he exited Interstate 80 onto Route 46.
