FORT LEE - Layoffs are coming to the Fort Lee Public Schools system.

About 60 classroom aides, two high school teachers and a few administrative positions have been cut. The cuts will save a total of $850,000, administrators say.

"Parents have good reason to be concerned," says School Superintendent Raymond Bandlow.

Seven teachers were fired for performance reasons, but they will be replaced.
