EDISON - Wednesday marked the 30th anniversary of Bruce Springsteen's album, “Born in the USA.”
The album was released on June 4, 1984.
It was a signature album for Springsteen that helped catapult him and the E-street Band to mega-stardom.
Billboard Magazine tallied off the accomplishments of the album: Seven top 10 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 at the time tying Michael Jackson's record set with "Thriller."
Another major milestone in the musical history of the Boss comes next year. Springsteen's “Born to Run” was released on August 25, 1975. Next year will mark the 40th anniversary of the album that essentially put Springsteen on the musical map.
