Brothers Zaire and Antwan Cromedy sought in fatal shooting of rapper E-9
SOMERSET - Two brothers are being sought in the killing of a rapper who was shot to death last weekend at a Franklin Township hair salon.
Somerset County prosecutors say 21-year-old Zaire Cromedy, of New Brunswick, and 28-year-old Antwan Cromedy, of Bound Brook, both face first-degree murder charges in the death of 28-year-old Eric Andrews Jr., whose stage name was E-9.
The charges were announced today, along with a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the whereabouts and arrests of both suspects.
The murder charges stem from the shooting that occurred just before 6 p.m. Sunday inside the Nu Trendz Hair Salon. Authorities say the men began arguing and the dispute soon turned physical.
Andrews was taken to a hospital, where he died a short time later.
