NEWARK - (AP) - A federal jury has convicted two brotherswho ran a Florida-based charter jet company of fraud conspiracy ina case stemming from a crash at Teterboro Airport.

Michael and Paul Brassington were found guilty Monday ofconspiracy to defraud the United States.

Michael Brassington also was convicted of endangering the safetyof an aircraft and seven counts of making false statements.Paul Brassington was acquitted of four similar false statementcounts.

The jury reached the verdict during its fourth day ofdeliberations.

Prosecutors alleged the Brassingtons and their company, PlatinumJet Management of Fort Lauderdale, ran illegal commercial chartersand broke safety rules. The 2005 crash at Teterboro injured 20people.
