NEWARK - Out of Newark's 550 firefighters, only two are female. One of those women is Katrina Hall, who is part of the Garden State's only brother-sister firefighter tandem.

Katrina ran through the obstacle course in Newark six years ago. She's the last female to get through it and make it to the Newark Fire Department. Katrina says she wanted to follow in her brother, Capt. Kelton Hall's, footsteps and was especially motivated after he told her to forget about it. The brother and sister team now help train recruits. They've also worked the same fires.
