EDISON - Authorities say a Bridgewater travel agency, whose owner was charged last month with defrauding a South Brunswick family, may have scammed more than two dozen other customers.
Police say they have received 26 complaints from people in seven states, including New York, Connecticut and Pennsylvania, who booked airline tickets through HK Travels.
The owner of the agency, Seshmuda Sunkara, was arrested on charges she defrauded a South Brunswick family of $9,000 by selling them fake tickets for a trip to India, according to police.
Authorities are still investigating the claims. Anyone with information regarding the case should call Bridgewater police.
