Police in Brick have arrested an alleged burglar who they say stabbed a homeowner after being confronted.

Jason Pascale has been arrested for allegedly breaking into homes in Brick Township.

BRICK - Police in Brick have arrested an alleged burglar who they say stabbed a homeowner after being confronted.

Earlier this week, police released surveillance photos of a man who they say broke into homes near Stephan Road. During one of the attempts, a homeowner confronted the man and the two of them fought. The homeowner was stabbed in the leg with a screwdriver during the struggle.

Following media coverage of the case, police were able to arrest Jason Pascale, 34, because of tips from the general public.

Pascale has been charged with robbery, burglary and theft of movable property. Police say he also had several outstanding warrants. He was taken to the Ocean County Jail on $50,000 bail.
