Brick City hoping 'Sweet 16' NCAA tourney will bring sweet profits

NEWARK - Local businesses are hoping to score this week as the NCAA's tournament's Sweet 16 round comes to town.

Joshua Adesso, the owner of Uber Burger and Brick City Coffee, says that he anticipates being very busy this weekend as the tournament comes to town. He says local customers make up most of his business, but big arena events bring a welcome rush.

Businesses say their food and drinks cost less than inside the arena and if people are willing to step out, they'll get a bargain within a block.

Events surrounding the NCAA will tip off on Thursday evening with a fan appreciation event outside the arena.
