EDISON - The convicted sex offender accused of killing his cousin and her foster daughter in Long Branch is facing a number of new charges.
In addition to murder and child endangerment charges, Brian Farmer is now facing five Megan's Law violations.
Police say Farmer, 58, strangled his cousin Joan Colbert and her 10-year-old foster child in their Long Branch home. They say Farmer killed them after he was caught taking pornographic photos of the child.

Farmer previously served 13 years in a state prison for sexually assaulting his girlfriend's teenage daughter while holding them both captive in a basement.
