CLIFTON - Violence that broke out in Clifton on a bus was captured on video. The fight apparently broke out over a seat, and ended with one man in the hospital, clinging to his life. The surveillance video, from an Express Service bus in Clifton, was taken Monday. The video appears to show a passenger being stabbed by a man and a woman, apparently after an argument over a seat. Clifton Police Capt. Robert Rowan says, if the bus wasn't so close to a hospital, the man may have died. Rowan says the man's injuries were severe and that he's still in the hospital.

Police are hoping someone will see the video and recognize the suspects. They're looking for a black man in his 20s and say the woman is in her 20s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and with a heavy build.

Clifton police can be reached at 973-470-5900
