EDISON - The engineers of tomorrow descended on Edison today as dozens of middle and high schools from around New Jersey competed in the New Jersey Science Olympiad, which is marking its 20th anniversary.

Students competing in subjects ranging from physics to biology to chemistry took over the campus of Middlesex County College in Edison. The schools that advance will be invited to a national tournament at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.
