Boy struck and killed by car in Keansburg

An 11-year-old boy was killed after being hit by a car in Keansburg.

Neighbors identified the boy as Drew Keough.

KEANSBURG - An 11-year-old boy was killed after being hit by a car in Keansburg.

The incident happened yesterday afternoon near the intersection of Forest and Park avenues.

Neighbors identified the boy as Drew Keough. Many stopped by a memorial set up near the intersection to pay tribute to the young boy.

Police have not yet said if the driver involved in the incident will be charged. An investigation on is underway.
