JERSEY CITY - A boil water advisory has been lifted for United Water customers in Jersey City.

Service was disrupted over the weekend following a water main break.

Customers had been advised to boil their water for 1 minute for some water uses.

United Water is asking that customers run water faucets for 3-5 minutes to flush the service connection and interior plumbing. Ice makers and hot water heaters should also be flushed.
