HOBOKEN - United Water lifted the boil water advisory it issued last week after a series of water main breaks in Hoboken.

The boil water advisory came after a 30-inch pipe on Willow Avenue at 14th Street was accidentally broken by a construction crew.

There were three other breaks or leaks in the area since Thursday.

Officials told Hoboken residents to boil water for at least one minute before drinking, cooking or making ice over the past several days.
