EAST ORANGE - East Orange residents are being advised to boil their water after routine testing today found E.coli contamination.

City officials say all residents of East Orange should boil their water before drinking, preparing foods, washing vegetables and fruit, cooking, making ice cubes, taking medications, brushing teeth, and mixing baby formula, food, juices or drinks.

Health experts say E. coli can cause symptoms such as diarrhea, cramps, nausea and headaches. City of East Orange East Orange Water Commission
