WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP - The Budd Lake fire company recovered a still-unidentified person from the Muscanetcong River earlier today.

Washington Township police in Morris County say they received a call at around 11 a.m. that a body was wedged by several logs in the river.

The recovery of the body took nearly two hours, ending at around 1 p.m. The Morris County Prosecutor's Office is still investigating.
