WALL TOWNSHIP - Boats damaged during Sandy are now up for auction.

The vessels were brought to Monmouth Executive Airport in Wall for storage after insurance companies settled claims with their original owners. Yachtsalvage.com says they will now be sold for a fraction of their original price.

Prices for the ships are ranging from a few hundred dollars to $100,000, depending on the extent of their damage. Some of the higher end boats have already sold overseas to buyers in Turkey, Germany and Venezuela.

All the vessels are sold with salvage certificates stating that they cannot be placed back in the water until they are repaired.
