Dozens of boats were pushed hundreds of yards away, and some pushed all the way out to sea, as wind and water from Hurricane Sandy

PORT MONMOUTH - Dozens of boats were pushed hundreds of yards away, and some pushed all the way out to sea, as wind and water from Hurricane Sandy ravaged Monmouth Cove Marina.

Experienced boaters dry-docked their boats, but wind and water from Sandy was so strong it pushed the boats hundreds of yards away causing severe damage to many.

One boater saw his 26 foot fishing boat pushed all the way out into the Raritan Bay.
