EDISON - A winter that has slammed the Garden State with one storm after another is taking a toll on snow-weary residents.

News 12 New Jersey meteorologist James Gregorio says that no snow is expected to fall this week, the first since the after-Christmas blizzard that pummeled the state with nearly three feet of snow.

Although no snow is expected, conditions are about to get more slippery despite a recent thaw. Gregorio says a blast of frigid air will freeze melted snow all over again today and leave a fresh coating of ice on roads and sidewalks.
