EDISON - More birds in Ocean County have tested positive for the deadly West Nile Virus.

Two dead birds, one found in Bayville and another in Toms River, both tested positive for the disease.

Just two weeks ago a dead bird in Point Pleasant also tested positive for West Nile virus.

West Nile virus causes flu-like symptoms and spreads to humans through mosquito bites.

The Ocean County Mosquito Commission is reminding people to make sure there is no standing water on their properties because standing water is the ideal breeding ground for mosquitoes.
