Bergen County police hunt for possible sexual predator

GLEN ROCK - Bergen County investigators are on the hunt for a possible sexual predator who allegedly approached a young jogger while she was out by herself last weekend.

Glen Rock police say a 14-year-old girl out running Saturday morning was approached on Main Street by a man in a car asking for directions to Route 17. The man proceeded to stare at her and told her she had nice legs. The girl ran off and called police.

Officials say that on the same day, three similar incidents were reported within a few hours. One incident occurred on Pleasant Avenue in neighboring Ridgewood, where a 40-year-old victim says she was approached by a man driving by slowly. The man told the woman she had a great body and said he would like to see her in a bikini.

Police gave a vague description of the man, saying he is balding, between the ages of 20 and 40, and drives a dark colored sedan.
