PRINCETON - A funeral was held today for a beloved rabbi and teacher who used to work at Princeton University.

Rabbi James Diamond, 74, was killed after being hit by a car in a multi-car crash. Police say 20-year-old Eric Maltz was speeding when he hit another car, who in turn hit Diamond as he was getting into a third car. Maltz has since been charged in Diamond's death.

Diamond was the director of Princeton University's Center for Jewish Life for almost 10 years before he retired in 2003.
