MANASQUAN - Hundreds of people lined up to buy beach badges and parking stickers today in Manasquan, the first day both went on sale for 2013.

Officials say they plan to rebuild the Sandy-ravaged boardwalk in part with revenue from the badges.

Parts of the paved oceanfront walkway were significantly damaged by Sandy.

Seasonal badges range in price from $25 for a senior citizen to $70 for a regular adult price.

The estimated damage to the boardwalk is somewhere around $400,000.
