BAYVILLE - A Bayville teenager has started a petition to appear on AMC's “The Walking Dead.”

A genetic disorder took Nick Santonastasso's arms and legs, but not his sense of fun or his ability to scare people as a zombie. He posts his zombie prank videos through Vine.

He wants to take his zombie skills to one of his favorite shows, “The Walking Dead.”

"Living life with a disability, you've got to have fun with it and you can't always be down about it. You're stuck with it, so you might as well make the best of it," Santonastasso says.

He has thousands of Twitter and Vine followers who he says he has helped. He says he has taken calls from people threatening to hurt themselves.

"I just love that I can impact people's lives. I think it's the greatest thing ever," Santonastasso says.

The online petition to get Santonastasso on the popular show has garnered nearly 2,000 supporters.
