BAYONNE - "The Daily Show" with Jon Stewart is considered fake news, but a segment on the show has created real outrage in Bayonne.

The segment was a promo for a fake reality show where "Daily Show" contributor and actor Jason Jones takes viewers on a tour of "Jason Jones' Bayonne New Jersey." In the promo, his car gets stolen, he buys drugs and stray cats get shot.

Bayonne residents such as Adam Semanchick know that the segment is supposed to be funny by poking fun at "Sarah Palin's Alaska," but he says he isn't laughing. Semanchick says he found the segment offensive because viewers never see the city's parks or close-knit community.
